With three decades of experience we have had the privilege of working on an extensive range of projects over the years, each one a new opportunity for us to flex our design muscles, dive deep, dream big, discover more and create healthy, enriching spaces. This ethos was ingrained from the start when Diane (Heeger) Thorsen, our founder, started DEI in 2002. When Justin Cooper stepped in as Managing Director in 2011, he brought with a wealth of industry experience and a commitment to continuing the company’s fine tradition.

 Since then DEI has gone from strength to strength, continuing as a full-service operation that intends to always contribute meaningfully to our built environment. We do this with care, consideration and creativity, harnessing the power of longstanding partnerships as we develop solutions that are sustainable, innovative and catalysts for greater wellbeing.
